Weekend Receptionist

Job Summary

AdviniaCare Newton-Wellesley is seeking a skilled and compassionate Weekend Receptionist to join our team. As a vital member of our administrative staff, you will provide exceptional customer service, support our residents and staff, and ensure the smooth operation of our facility on weekends. Hours for this position are every Saturday and Sunday 8a - 4p or 8:30a - 4:30p. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate the telephone switchboard to answer, screen, and forward calls, providing information and taking messages

• Greet all visitors entering the facility and direct or escort them to their destination

• Assist residents, family members, employees, and other visitors as needed

• Perform general administrative tasks such as word processing and data entry

• Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access to who enters the facility

• Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondences appropriately

• Receive and sort daily mail/delivery/couriers

• Report any issues or concerns with residents to the Administrator

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care industry, preferred

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask

Physical Demands

• Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday

• May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations

Hours

Every weekend 8a - 4p or 8:30a - 4:30p
